How long does the video analysis take?−
The complete analysis takes between 5 and 7 business days, depending on video length and complexity. Longer videos or those with multiple suspects may require more time.
How should I send the video?+
Send the original video without re-encoding, as it was recorded or received. Use transfer platforms like WeTransfer or Google Drive. DO NOT send it via WhatsApp or social media that compress it.
Can you detect deepfakes?+
Yes, we use specialized artificial intelligence technology to detect deepfakes and face swaps. We analyze inconsistencies in facial movements, blinking, lip sync, and other indicators.
What is a deepfake?+
A deepfake is a video manipulated with artificial intelligence that can replace one person's face with another's very realistically, or generate fake content that appears authentic.
Can all types of editing be detected?+
We can detect most edits: cuts, montages, speed changes, duplications, insertions, etc. Very sophisticated professional edits may be more difficult, but there are always detectable traces.
Is the report legally valid?+
Yes, our reports have full legal validity. Experts can ratify the analysis in court and technically explain the conclusions.
Can the expert testify in court?+
Yes, our forensic experts are authorized to appear in court, ratify the expert report, and answer questions from the parties and judge. Their technical experience and professional certifications guarantee credibility before the court.
What video formats can you analyze?+
We analyze all common formats: MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, FLV, MKV, MPEG, 3GP, and many others. We also work with files from specific cameras (dashcam, bodycam, CCTV) and proprietary formats from video surveillance systems. If you have a special format, consult us.
Can I send videos from social media?+
Yes, but keep in mind that social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) recompress videos when uploading, making forensic analysis more difficult. It is always better to provide the original unmodified file. If you only have the social media version, we can work with it but with technical limitations.
How long can the video to be analyzed be?+
There is no technical duration limit. We have analyzed clips of just seconds to recordings of several hours (complete video surveillance, recorded events, etc.). Analysis time and price are adjusted proportionally to the material length.
What is frame-by-frame analysis?+
It is the detailed examination of each individual frame of the video. A video at 30fps has 1,800 frames per minute. Frame-by-frame analysis allows detecting subtle inconsistencies, duplicated or deleted frames, abrupt changes in lighting or color, and other anomalies imperceptible in normal playback that evidence manipulation.
Can a deleted video be recovered?+
It depends on several factors: device type, time elapsed since deletion, and whether new data has been recorded over the deleted video's space. In some cases, we can perform forensic recovery of deleted data. It requires direct access to the original storage device (SD card, hard drive, phone).
What technical information does the report include?+
The report includes: EXIF metadata analysis (date, time, device, geolocation if available), container and codec examination, integrity verification through SHA-256 hashes, compression and re-encoding analysis, edit detection (cuts, insertions, modifications), AI deepfake evaluation, audio-video coherence analysis, complete frame-by-frame timeline of findings, well-founded technical conclusions, and photographic annexes. All documented according to ISO/IEC 27037 standards.
How is it detected that a video has been cut?+
Through jumps in the encoding structure (GOP), discontinuities in timestamps, abrupt changes in background audio noise, and inconsistencies in motion between frames. A cut that looks clean visually is almost never clean at the container level.
Is a screen recording of the video acceptable?+
It's the worst option: re-recording destroys metadata and structure, limiting the analysis to what is visible. Always export from the original system, including the DVR or NVR index files if it's CCTV footage.
Can you identify a deepfake?+
We analyze synthesis artifacts at facial edges, blinking, lighting consistency and lip-sync mismatches. The technology is advancing fast, so the report states the confidence level and which specific indicators support it.
How much video can be analyzed?+
Frame-by-frame analysis is intensive, so we narrow down the relevant footage and verify the overall integrity of the file. We quote based on duration and resolution.
Is security camera footage valid as evidence?+
Yes, provided the video surveillance complies with LO 3/2018 (informational signage, legitimate purpose, limited retention). The forensic examination also confirms that the submitted recording is intact and continuous.
Do I need a digital certificate?+
Yes, to sign electronically you need a digital certificate or an electronic DNI. If you do not have one, we help you obtain it quickly before your appointment, with no additional handling fee.
Can I do it from abroad?+
Yes, the notarial video call works from any country. You only need a stable connection, your valid identity document and a digital certificate.
How much does this service cost?+
The quote includes the official notarial fees set by the Notarial Association plus our handling, fixed before you start and with no hidden costs. Request it with no obligation via WhatsApp or the form.
