It is a public document authorized by a notary that is drafted simultaneously in Spanish (official language) and English, incorporating both versions in the same document. The notary certifies that both have the same content and legal validity.
Does it have the same legal validity as a deed only in Spanish?+
Yes, it has full legal validity in Spain. The Spanish version is official according to the Notarial Law, but the English version is certified by the notary as concordant, so both are valid.
What notarial acts can be done in two languages?+
Virtually any act: notarial powers of attorney, real estate purchases, company formations, wills, prenuptial agreements, contracts, notarial deeds, etc. Ask about your specific case.
How long does it take to draft a bilingual deed?+

Is it more expensive than a normal deed?+

Do both versions have the same legal value?+
